For the Wraps
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast (shredded or sliced)
- 4 slices ham (deli-style, thinly sliced)
- 4 slices cheese (such as Swiss, Cheddar, or Mozzarella)
Optional Add-ins
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise or ranch dressing (for spreading)
- 1/2 cup baby spinach or lettuce leaves
For Air Frying
- Olive oil spray (or cooking spray)
Instructions
- Prepare the Filling: Lay out a tortilla on a flat surface. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise or ranch dressing evenly across the tortilla if desired. Add a layer of spinach or lettuce for extra freshness and crunch.
- Assemble the Wrap: Place about 1/2 cup of chicken evenly down the center of the tortilla. Top the chicken with one slice of ham and one slice of cheese. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then tightly roll it up from the bottom to secure the filling. Repeat for the remaining tortillas.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for 2-3 minutes. This ensures even crisping of the wraps.
- Cook the Wraps: Lightly spray the outside of each wrap with olive oil spray to help them crisp. Place the wraps seam side down in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is melted.
- Serve: Remove the wraps from the air fryer, allow them to cool for a minute, then slice in half and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce if desired.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken, leftover grilled chicken, or even turkey as a substitute.
- Experiment with different cheese and deli meat combinations to suit your taste.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket—work in batches if needed for best results.
- If your air fryer runs hot, check the wraps a minute or two earlier to prevent over-browning.
- For a lower-carb version, use a low-carb or whole wheat tortilla, or skip the mayo.
