2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 large egg

1 tbsp milk or water (for egg wash)

3/4 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

Olive oil spray
Instructions

Prep the chicken:
Pound chicken breasts to even thickness (about 1/2 inch thick). Pat dry with paper towels. -
Set up breading station:

Bowl 1: flour

Bowl 2: egg + milk, whisked

Bowl 3: breadcrumbs, Parmesan (if using), garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper

Bread the chicken:
Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the egg wash, then press into the breadcrumb mixture, coating all sides well. -
Preheat the air fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes. -
Cook:
Spray both sides of the breaded chicken with olive oil spray. Place in air fryer basket (don’t overcrowd). Air fry at 375°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and internal temp reaches 165°F.
