- 3 medium russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (more to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Potatoes
- Wash and peel the potatoes (optional), then cut them into 1/4-inch thick fries.
- Soak the potato slices in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry.
- Season the Fries
- In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Air Fry the Fries
- Preheat the air fryer to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- Arrange the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Add Parmesan
- Increase the temperature to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) and cook for an additional 5-8 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Remove the fries, then toss them with grated Parmesan cheese while still hot.
- Serve
- Garnish with chopped parsley (if using) and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, make sure the fries are evenly spaced in the air fryer. Cook in batches if necessary.
- You can substitute russet potatoes with Yukon Gold for a creamier texture.
