Description

This quick and delicious air fryer honey mustard salmon is perfect for a weeknight dinner or a healthy lunch. The sweet and tangy glaze caramelizes beautifully in the air fryer, creating a flavorful, tender salmon filet that’s sure to impress.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for added flavor)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  • Prepare the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Season the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Lightly season with salt and pepper on both sides.
  • Coat the Salmon: Brush the honey mustard glaze generously over each salmon fillet, ensuring an even coating.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.
  • Cook the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, skin side down. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Serve: Remove the salmon from the air fryer and garnish with lemon wedges. Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

  • You can substitute Dijon mustard with whole-grain mustard for a slightly different texture and flavor.
  • For a spicier glaze, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili flakes.
  • This recipe pairs well with steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
