- Portion the Patties:

- Remove the meat mixture from the refrigerator and cut it into serving-sized squares.
- Sear the Patties:
- Lightly dredge each meat square in flour.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter or margarine. Sear the patties on both sides until browned.

- In a bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, one soup can of water, and the drained mushrooms. Mix until smooth.

- Place the browned meat patties in a baking dish. Pour the mushroom gravy over the patties, ensuring they are well covered.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 90 minutes.
