Description

These Apple Pie Bombs are sweet, gooey, and bursting with warm apple cinnamon flavor. Wrapped in biscuit dough and baked until golden, they’re a quick and fun twist on traditional apple pie. Perfect for a cozy dessert or a sweet treat any time of the year!

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)

  • 1 1/2 cups apple pie filling (chopped into small pieces)

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin.

  • In a small bowl, mix the chopped apple pie filling with cinnamon.

  • Place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center of each biscuit round.

  • Fold the edges up and pinch to seal, forming a ball.

  • Place each sealed ball seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

  • Brush each with melted butter and bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown.

  • While still warm, mix sugar and a pinch of cinnamon in a small bowl and roll each pie bomb in the mixture until coated.

  • Let cool slightly and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use homemade apple pie filling if you prefer.

  • These are best served warm but can be reheated in the microwave or oven.

  • Add a drizzle of caramel sauce or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
