- 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 oz bacon, cooked and chopped
- 12 slider buns
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Optional: sliced pickles, chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350โฏยฐF (175โฏยฐC).
- In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, chopped bacon, barbecue sauce, honey, and garlic powder until well mixed.
- Slice slider buns in half and place bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Evenly distribute the chickenโbacon mixture over the bottom buns.
- Top each with a cheese half.
- Place top bun halves over sliders.
- Brush melted butter over tops of buns.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes, until cheese is melted and sliders are heated through.
- Remove foil and bake 5 more minutes for golden tops.
- Serve warm, optionally garnished with sliced pickles or parsley.

- Make chicken ahead by roasting or using rotisserie for convenience.
- Use brioche or Hawaiian rolls for a sweeter slider.
- Add a dash of smoked paprika for extra depth.
