Description

These Bacon Cheeseburger Bombs are the ultimate handheld snack! Juicy beef, gooey cheese, and crispy bacon are wrapped in biscuit dough and baked to golden perfection. Perfect for game day, parties, or a fun dinner idea the whole family will love.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese cubes)
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (such as Pillsbury Grands)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter (optional, for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:ย Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the Beef:ย In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce until browned. Drain excess grease and let cool slightly.
  3. Prepare the Dough:ย Flatten each biscuit into a circle about 4 inches wide.
  4. Assemble the Bombs:
    • Place a small scoop of cooked beef in the center of each dough circle.
    • Add a sprinkle of crumbled bacon.
    • Place a cube of cheese or a spoonful of shredded cheese on top.
    • Gather the edges of the dough and pinch them together to seal. Roll into a smooth ball.
  5. Egg Wash & Topping:ย Place the sealed dough balls seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
  6. Bake:ย Bake for 15โ€“18 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Final Touch:ย Brush with melted butter right after baking for extra flavor.
  8. Serve:ย Let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with ketchup, mustard, or your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

  • Swap cheddar for American cheese for a classic burger taste.
  • Use crescent roll dough instead of biscuit dough for a flakier texture.
  • Add diced pickles or caramelized onions inside for extra flavor.
  • These can be air-fried at 350ยฐF for 10โ€“12 minutes instead of baking.
