Description

These Bacon Cheeseburger Stuffed Tater Tot Cones combine crispy tater tots molded into cones and filled with a cheesy, savory bacon cheeseburger filling. A fun and delicious twist perfect for parties or dinner.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 cups frozen tater tots
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 preferred)
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped pickles
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Shape aluminum foil into cone molds and cover with parchment paper.
  2. Line tater tots tightly on the outside of each cone mold, slightly overlapping. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and crisp.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef. Add diced onion and cook until soft.
  4. Stir in crumbled bacon, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and gooey. Remove from heat.
  6. Let tater tot cones cool slightly and remove from molds.
  7. Spoon hot bacon cheeseburger mixture into each cone.
  8. Garnish with extra cheese, chopped pickles, and a drizzle of ketchup or sauce if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • Use foil molds if cone molds are unavailable.
  • Ensure tater tots are tightly packed to avoid gaps.
  • Drain excess grease from the beef to avoid soggy cones.
  • Keep filled cones warm in the oven at 200°F if needed.
