Description

Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with crispy bacon, this Bacon Tortellini Alfredo is the ultimate comfort food! It comes together in just 30 minutes using store-bought tortellini, making it perfect for busy weeknights. Each bite is rich, flavorful, and totally satisfying.

Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini

  • 6 slices bacon, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate.

  • In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  • Pour in heavy cream and stir. Bring to a gentle simmer, then add Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  • Stir until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened, about 3–5 minutes.

  • Add cooked tortellini and bacon back to the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce.

  • Cook for another 2–3 minutes to warm everything through.

  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked tortellini to save time.

  • Add grilled chicken or sautéed mushrooms for an extra protein boost.

  • You can sub half-and-half for heavy cream, but the sauce will be thinner.
