Description
These Baked Cauliflower Bites are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. They make the perfect healthy snack, side dish, or appetizer. Tossed in a seasoned breadcrumb coating and oven-baked until golden brown, they’re a great alternative to fried snacks.
Ingredients
1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
2 large eggs
1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Olive oil spray or drizzle (for baking)
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
-
In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs.
-
In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan (if using), garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
-
Dip each cauliflower floret into the egg, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture until well coated.
-
Place the coated florets on the baking sheet in a single layer. Lightly spray or drizzle with olive oil.
-
Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
-
Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch, buffalo, or marinara.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, skip the Parmesan.
You can swap breadcrumbs for gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
Add cayenne pepper or chili flakes for a spicy kick.
