Description

These Baked Cauliflower Bites are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. They make the perfect healthy snack, side dish, or appetizer. Tossed in a seasoned breadcrumb coating and oven-baked until golden brown, they’re a great alternative to fried snacks.

Ingredients

Units Scale

1 medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets

2 large eggs

1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

Olive oil spray or drizzle (for baking)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  2. In a shallow bowl, beat the eggs.

  3. In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan (if using), garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  4. Dip each cauliflower floret into the egg, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture until well coated.

  5. Place the coated florets on the baking sheet in a single layer. Lightly spray or drizzle with olive oil.

  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch, buffalo, or marinara.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, skip the Parmesan.

You can swap breadcrumbs for gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.

Add cayenne pepper or chili flakes for a spicy kick.
