- 1 can (10 oz) maraschino cherries, drained and halved
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup (for garnish)
- 1 tablespoon chopped nuts (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the whipped topping and sour cream together until smooth and well-combined.
- Gently fold in the sliced bananas, strawberries, drained pineapple, and maraschino cherries.
- Stir in the mini marshmallows and, if using, the chopped nuts and chocolate chips.
- Refrigerate the salad for at least 1 hour to chill and allow the flavors to meld.
