- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can (15 oz) refried beans
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 6 large flour tortillas
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Optional toppings: sour cream, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, jalapeรฑos
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Drain excess fat, then add taco seasoning and water. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add refried beans and salsa to the skillet. Mix well and cook for another 3โ4 minutes until heated through.
- Warm the tortillas in a microwave or on a skillet until pliable.
- Spoon the beef and bean mixture onto each tortilla. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Fold in the sides and roll up the tortillas to form burritos.
- Optional: Place the burritos seam side down in a heated skillet and cook for 1โ2 minutes on each side for a crispy finish.
- Serve warm with desired toppings.

- You can use black beans instead of refried beans for a chunkier texture.
