- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cups cold water
- 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 3 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 (11 oz) box vanilla wafers
- 4–5 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for whipped cream)
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (for whipped cream)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and cold water until well combined.
- Add the vanilla pudding mix and whisk for about 2 minutes until smooth and thickened. Chill for 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold two-thirds of the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until fully combined.
- In a 9×13 inch dish, arrange a layer of vanilla wafers at the bottom.
- Top with a layer of banana slices, then spread a layer of the pudding mixture over the top.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of pudding.
- Top with the remaining whipped cream.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best flavor and texture.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
- Use ripe but firm bananas to prevent mushiness.
- The pudding can be made a day ahead for convenience.
- Add a sprinkle of crushed vanilla wafers on top for extra crunch before serving.
