- 1/4 cup blueberry syrup
- 1 cup sparkling water or soda
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
- Lime wedges (optional, for garnish)
- Extra blueberries (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Make the Blueberry Syrup:
- In a small saucepan, combine the blueberries, sugar, and water.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves and the blueberries burst (about 5โ7 minutes).
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl, pressing gently to extract the liquid. Discard the solids and let the syrup cool completely.
- Prepare the Drink:
- In a glass, add the lime juice and blueberry syrup. Stir to combine.
- Fill the glass with ice cubes and top with sparkling water or soda. Gently stir again.
- Garnish with fresh mint, lime wedges, and extra blueberries, if desired.
