- 12 mini slider buns
- 6 slices bacon (halved)
- 6 small breakfast sausage patties
- 6 slices cheddar cheese (halved to fit buns)
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1 tsp chopped fresh chives or parsley (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350โฏยฐF (175โฏยฐC).
- In a skillet, cook bacon halves until crispy; transfer to paper towels to drain.
- In same skillet, cook sausage patties until browned and cooked through; set aside.
- Slice slider buns in half horizontally and place bottom halves on a baking sheet or in a shallow baking dish.
- Layer each bun bottom with a sausage patty, fold a bacon half on top, and add a piece of cheddar cheese.
- Replace top half of buns.
- Brush melted butter over the tops, sprinkling garlic powder if using.
- Bake for 8โ10 minutes, until cheese is melted and tops are golden.
- Garnish with chopped chives or parsley, then serve warm.
Notes
- Make them ahead and reheat in a warm oven (300โฏยฐF) for 5 minutes before serving.
- Swap cheddar for pepper jack or Swiss for a different flavor.
- Add a fried egg on each slider for extra protein.
- Whole wheat or glutenโfree buns work fine if preferred.
