Description

This creamy and spicy Buffalo Chicken Dip is the perfect appetizer for game days, parties, or any casual gathering. Made with shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, cream cheese, and a blend of cheeses, it’s a crowd-pleasing dish that’s best served warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies for dipping.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie or pre-cooked)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing (or blue cheese dressing)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Mix until well combined.
  3. Spread the mixture into a baking dish (8×8 or similar).
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the dip is hot and bubbly.
  5. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions, if desired.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or celery sticks.

Notes

  • You can substitute the ranch dressing with blue cheese dressing if you prefer a more tangy flavor.
  • Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce based on your desired level of heat.
  • This dip can also be made in a slow cooker. Combine the ingredients and cook on low for 1-2 hours until heated through.
