This Charcuterie Board Flatbread combines all the best elements of a classic charcuterie boardโ€”cured meats, cheeses, olives, fruit, and honeyโ€”on a crisp, warm flatbread. Perfect for entertaining, this easy recipe comes together quickly and offers a delicious, shareable appetizer that feels both elegant and comforting.

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Flatbread Base

  • 2 pre-made flatbreads or naan
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

For the Cheese Layer

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup crumbled goat cheese

For the Charcuterie Toppings

  • 3 ounces prosciutto, torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 ounces salami, sliced thin
  • 1/4 cup pitted green or black olives, halved

For Garnish

  • 1/4 cup arugula
  • 1/4 cup seedless red grapes, sliced in half
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Flatbread Base: Preheat your oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC). Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet. Brush each flatbread with olive oil and evenly sprinkle the minced garlic over the top.
  2. Add the Cheese Layer: Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over both flatbreads, followed by crumbled goat cheese.
  3. Layer on Charcuterie: Arrange the prosciutto and salami slices over the cheese layer. Scatter the sliced olives on top.
  4. Bake the Flatbreads: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and the edges of the flatbread are golden brown.
  5. Garnish and Finish: Remove the flatbreads from the oven. Top with arugula and sliced grapes. Drizzle honey over the warm flatbread and add freshly ground black pepper to taste. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute flatbreads with pizza crust or homemade dough if preferred.
  • Feel free to use any of your favorite cured meats or cheeses for a personalized touch.
  • Add figs, dried fruit, or nuts for extra flavor and texture.
  • This recipe is best enjoyed fresh but can be reheated in the oven to restore crispiness.
