Description

Fun, handheld biscuits filled with cheeseburger ingredientsโ€”ground beef, bacon, cheese, and picklesโ€”for an easy, mess-free dinner or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 68 bacon slices
  • 1 1/2 tsp hamburger seasoning (or salt & pepper)
  • 8 oz shredded cheese
  • 8 pickle slices
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits (8-count)
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic salt
  • Ketchup, mustard or ranch for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cook bacon until crispy (about 5 minutes per side), then remove from pan, reserving about 1 tbsp of bacon grease.
  3. Cook ground beef in the bacon grease until no longer pink (about 10 minutes); season with hamburger seasoning or salt & pepper. Drain excess fat.
  4. Crumble bacon and mix with cooked beef; cook for 1โ€“2 minutes to combine flavors. Remove from heat.
  5. Flatten each biscuit to about ยผ inch thickness.
  6. Place one pickle slice, about 1 tbsp of the meat mixture, and 1 tbsp of shredded cheese in the center of each flattened biscuit.
  7. Pinch biscuit edges to seal and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Brush tops with melted butter mixed with garlic salt.
  9. Bake for 12โ€“16 minutes or until golden brown. Let rest 2โ€“3 minutes before serving. Serve warm with dipping sauces.

Notes

  • You can freeze assembled bombs and bake them later (add a few extra minutes to the bake time).
  • Customize with your favorite burger toppings.
