Description

Cheeseburger Quesadillas combine the best of both worldsโ€”savory, juicy burger flavor wrapped in crispy, cheesy quesadilla form. Quick, customizable, and perfect for weeknight meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pickles
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil for cooking
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp sweet relish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with salt and onion (if using) until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  2. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and relish to make the burger sauce.
  3. Lay out tortillas. Spread sauce over half of each. Top with cheddar cheese, cooked beef, pickles, and a little more cheese. Fold tortillas in half.
  4. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook each quesadilla 2โ€“3 minutes per side until golden and the cheese is melted.
  5. Let rest for 1 minute, then slice into wedges and serve warm with extra burger sauce.

Notes

  • Do not overfill the quesadillas to make flipping easier.
  • Use low heat for even cheese melting and crispy tortillas.
  • Make burger sauce ahead of timeโ€”it stores well for a week in the fridge.
