Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 cup pesto (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.

Spread 1 tablespoon of pesto over the top of each chicken breast.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the pesto-coated chicken breasts.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
