- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef, breaking it up, about 5โ7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet. Cook until softened, about 3โ4 minutes.
- Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes to let flavors meld.
- Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until well coated in the sauce.
- Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the spaghetti mixture, cover, and let it melt, about 2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

- For a lighter version, swap half the beef for ground turkey or leaner meat.
- Add a dash of hot sauce or cayenne pepper for heat.
