Description

  • 36 chocolate kisses, unwrapped

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep:ย Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients:ย In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients:ย In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Make the Dough:ย Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined. Stir in milk until the dough is smooth.
  5. Shape & Roll:ย Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls and roll them in granulated sugar. Place them on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake:ย Bake for 8โ€“10 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
  7. Add the Kiss:ย Immediately press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
