Ingredients

  • Pizza Dough: You can use store-bought or homemade dough.
  • Olive Oil: For brushing the dough.
  • Italian Seasoning: To add flavor.
  • Alfredo Sauce: Serves as the base sauce.
  • Pesto: Adds a green hue and flavor.
  • Mozzarella Cheese: Shredded, for topping.
  • Green Bell Pepper: Sliced into strips to resemble garlands.
  • Cherry Tomatoes: Halved, to mimic ornaments.
  • Mini Pepperoni Slices: Optional, for additional โ€œornaments.โ€
  • Parmesan Cheese: Grated, for garnish.
  • Fresh Basil Leaves: For garnish.

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:ย Set your oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
  2. Prepare Dough:
    • Divide the pizza dough into small, equal-sized balls.
    • Arrange the dough balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree: start with a row of six at the base, then five above it, continuing up to one at the top.
    • For the trunk, place two smaller dough balls at the bottom center.
    • Gently press the dough balls so they touch each other.
  3. First Bake:
    • Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
    • Bake for about 10 minutes until slightly golden.
  4. Add Sauces and Toppings:
    • Mix Alfredo sauce and pesto together, then spread over the partially baked dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
    • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top.
    • Decorate with green bell pepper strips as garlands and place cherry tomato halves and mini pepperoni slices as ornaments.
  5. Final Bake:
    • Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Garnish and Serve:
    • Once out of the oven, sprinkle with grated Parmesan and fresh basil leaves.
    • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Customize with your favorite toppings, such as olives, mushrooms, or onions.
  • To make it extra fun, serve with marinara or ranch dipping sauce on the side.
