  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (or ranch dressing, optional)
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce (optional, for dipping)

For Assembly:

  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
    • Knead the dough on a floured surface for 6-8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  2. Prepare the Filling:
    • Cook and shred chicken if not already prepared.
    • Combine shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, mozzarella, Parmesan, and Caesar dressing in a large bowl. Mix well.
  3. Assemble the Chicken Bakes:
    • Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    • Divide the dough into 4-6 equal portions. Roll each piece into a rectangle, approximately 8ร—10 inches.
    • Spread the chicken mixture down the center of each rectangle, leaving space on the edges for sealing.
    • Fold the sides of the dough over the filling and pinch to seal the edges. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake:
    • Brush the tops of each chicken bake with beaten egg for a golden crust.
    • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

Notes
