For the Banana Bread:

- Preheat Oven:ย Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 9ร5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray or butter.
- Prepare Banana Bread Batter:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the egg, sour cream, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
- Stir in the mashed bananas.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Prepare Cream Cheese Filling:
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the egg, granulated sugar, and flour; mix until creamy and well combined.
- Assemble the Bread:
- Pour half of the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
- Gently spread the cream cheese filling over the batter.
- Top with the remaining banana bread batter, spreading it evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- If the top begins to brown too quickly, tent it with aluminum foil during the last 15 minutes of baking.
- Cool:
- Remove the bread from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Then, transfer the bread to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
