Description

This Creamy Bacon Chicken is the perfect combination of crispy bacon, tender chicken, and a rich, creamy sauce. It’s a hearty and flavorful dish that’s easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion. Serve it with mashed potatoes, pasta, or a fresh side salad for a complete meal!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon:
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside on a plate lined with paper towels.
  2. Prepare the chicken:
Season chicken breasts with Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. In the same skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the creamy sauce:
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to deglaze. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
  4. Combine:
Add the chicken breasts back to the skillet, along with the crispy bacon. Simmer for another 5-7 minutes, spooning sauce over the chicken, until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature reaches 165°F).
  5. Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • You can substitute chicken thighs for chicken breasts if preferred.
  • If the sauce is too thick, thin it with a little extra chicken broth or water.
