Description

This Creamy Pickle Dip is a cool and tangy appetizer that’s loaded with chopped dill pickles, fresh herbs, and a hint of garlic. It’s rich, creamy, and full of flavor—perfect for chips, crackers, veggie sticks, or spreading on sandwiches. Quick to make and always a hit at parties or game day!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup sour cream

  • 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles

  • 1 tbsp pickle juice (from the jar)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill (or 1 tsp dried dill)

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • Salt to taste (start with a pinch, adjust if needed)

  • Optional: 1/4 cup chopped green onions or chives for extra flavor

Instructions

  1. Mix the base:
In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and sour cream together until smooth and creamy.

  2. Add flavor:
Stir in the chopped pickles, pickle juice, garlic powder, onion powder, dill, pepper, and green onions (if using). Mix well until everything is evenly combined.

  3. Chill:
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors blend.

  4. Serve:
Serve chilled with chips, pretzels, crackers, or veggie sticks. Also great as a sandwich spread!

Notes

For a spicy twist, add chopped pickled jalapeños or a splash of hot sauce.

Use whipped cream cheese for an even lighter, fluffier texture.

Keeps well in the fridge for up to 4 days in an airtight container.
