- 8 oz halloumi cheese, sliced into 1/2-inch thick pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional, for a spicy kick)
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh herbs (like mint or parsley), for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for 3 minutes.
- Prepare the Halloumi: Pat the halloumi slices dry with a paper towel. Lightly brush both sides with olive oil and sprinkle with black pepper.
- Air Fry the Halloumi: Place the halloumi slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 7–8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy on both sides.
- Drizzle with Honey: Remove the halloumi from the air fryer, transfer to a serving plate, and immediately drizzle with honey.
- Garnish & Serve: Add a sprinkle of chili flakes for a spicy touch and garnish with fresh herbs if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
