- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- 1/4 cup reserved pasta water (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and reserve 1/4 cup of the pasta water.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter.
- Add cooked pasta and toss everything together. If the mixture seems dry, stir in reserved pasta water a little at a time.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

- Add a splash of cream or a handful of spinach for a creamy or veggie twist.
- Use shrimp instead of chicken for a seafood variation.
