- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 (3.9 oz) packages instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 1 (12 oz) container of whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
- Gummy worms (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor or in a zip-top bag with a rolling pin until they resemble dirt.
- In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened.
- Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- Fold in the whipped topping gently.
- In a 9×13-inch dish or individual cups, layer the crushed cookies and pudding mixture, starting and ending with the crushed cookies.
- Top with gummy worms if desired and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- You can use vanilla pudding instead of chocolate for a lighter version.
