Description

Easter Swirl Pie is a delightful no-bake dessert featuring a creamy, pastel-colored filling swirled together in a buttery graham cracker crust. It’s perfect for adding a festive touch to your Easter celebrations.

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling:

  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 14 oz (400 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy whipping cream
  • Gel food coloring in pastel shades (pink, blue, yellow, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust:

    • In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand.
    • Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust.
    • Place the crust in the refrigerator to set while you prepare the filling.
  2. Make the Filling:

    • In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
    • Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk, mixing until well combined.
    • Stir in the vanilla extract.
    • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
    • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  3. Color and Swirl the Filling:

    • Divide the filling evenly into three or more bowls, depending on how many colors you wish to use.
    • Add a few drops of gel food coloring to each bowl, stirring until the desired pastel shades are achieved.
    • Spoon dollops of each colored filling into the prepared crust, alternating colors randomly.
    • Once all the filling is added, use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the colors together, creating a marbled effect. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. Set the Pie:

    • Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or until fully set.
  5. Serve:

    • Once set, slice and serve the pie chilled.

Notes

  • For a firmer crust, you can bake it at 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) for 8-10 minutes before filling, then let it cool completely.
  • Feel free to experiment with different colors and patterns to make the pie uniquely yours.
