Description

These Easy and Delicious Garlic Knots are soft, buttery, and packed with flavorful garlic. They’re perfect for a side dish, appetizer, or snack, and are sure to be a hit at any meal or gathering.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Unroll the pizza dough on a clean surface. Cut it into 12 even strips, about 1 inch wide.
  3. Take each strip and tie it into a knot, then place each knot on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, garlic powder, and salt. Stir well to combine.
  5. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each garlic knot, making sure to coat them well.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove from the oven and brush with any remaining garlic butter. If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley for added flavor and garnish.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy your delicious garlic knots!

Notes

  • If you want a fluffier texture, let the dough rise for 10 minutes before baking.
  • These can be made ahead and frozen. Just bake and freeze, and reheat when ready to serve.
  • For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
