Description

This Easy Buldak Ramen recipe is the perfect way to enjoy spicy Korean-style noodles at home. It’s bold, flavorful, and ready in just minutes. Customize it with your favorite toppings like cheese, egg, or green onions to balance out the heat and make it your own!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Samyang Buldak Ramen (Hot Chicken Flavor)

  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar (optional, helps balance the spice)

  • 1 egg (fried or soft-boiled, optional)

  • 1 tablespoon shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)

  • 1 green onion, sliced

  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

  • Optional: cooked chicken, tofu, seaweed flakes

Instructions

  1. Boil noodles according to package instructions (about 4–5 minutes). Drain, leaving about 2 tablespoons of water in the pot.

  2. Stir in the included spicy sauce packet, sesame oil, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Mix well to coat the noodles evenly.

  3. Add toppings: Transfer to a bowl and top with a fried or soft-boiled egg, mozzarella cheese, green onions, sesame seeds, and any other desired toppings.

  4. Serve immediately and enjoy the spicy, savory heat!

Notes

  • For a creamier version, stir in a tablespoon of mayo, milk, or cream cheese.

  • Can’t handle too much heat? Start with half the sauce packet.

  • Add protein like grilled chicken, shrimp, or tofu to turn it into a full meal.
