- 1 (20 oz) can pineapple chunks, drained
- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix together the sugar and flour.
- Add the drained pineapple chunks and crushed pineapple to the sugar-flour mixture and stir to combine.
- Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- In a separate bowl, mix the crushed Ritz crackers with the melted butter until combined.
- Sprinkle the buttery cracker mixture evenly over the pineapple mixture.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
