Description

A rich, creamy, and chocolatey no-bake dessert made with layers of crushed Oreos, chocolate pudding, and whipped topping. It’s easy to make and perfect for potlucks or family gatherings!


Ingredients

  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies (crushed)
  • 6 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • 2 boxes (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Chocolate shavings or extra crushed Oreos (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: In a bowl, mix crushed Oreos with melted butter. Press into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Chill in the fridge while preparing the filling.
  2. Make the Cream Cheese Layer: In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping. Spread over the Oreo crust.
  3. Prepare the Pudding Layer: In another bowl, whisk together chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until thick. Stir in vanilla extract. Spread over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Top with Whipped Topping: Spread the remaining whipped topping evenly over the pudding layer.
  5. Chill & Serve: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (or overnight) to set. Before serving, sprinkle with extra crushed Oreos or chocolate shavings.

Notes

  • You can substitute chocolate pudding with vanilla or mix both for a layered effect.
  • For a richer taste, add a drizzle of chocolate syrup before serving.
