Description

  • 1 (12.4 oz) can refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (for rolling)
  • 1 (21 oz) can apple pie filling
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional, for extra spice)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  2. Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate them. Reserve the icing for later.
  3. On a floured surface, roll each cinnamon roll into a 3-4 inch circle. Press the rolls evenly into the bottom and up the sides of the pie dish to form a crust.
  4. In a bowl, mix the apple pie filling with cinnamon and nutmeg if using. Pour the filling over the cinnamon roll crust and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cinnamon roll crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
