Description

These easy croissant breakfast sandwiches are perfect for busy mornings. Flaky croissants are filled with eggs, cheese, and your choice of breakfast meat for a satisfying and delicious start to the day.


Ingredients

  • 4 croissants, halved
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices cooked bacon or breakfast sausage
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour in egg mixture and scramble until fully cooked.
  4. Slice croissants in half and layer each bottom half with scrambled eggs, a slice of cheese, and a piece of bacon or sausage.
  5. Top with the other half of the croissant.
  6. Place assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the croissants are warm.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute cheddar with Swiss or American cheese.
  • Make them vegetarian by skipping the meat or using plant-based alternatives.
