Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (or any nut/seed butter)
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (almonds, peanuts, or walnuts)
  • Flaky sea salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Line a small baking sheet or tray with parchment paper.
  2. Flatten the pitted dates and arrange them side by side on the tray to form a rectangle or square base, pressing them together to stick.
  3. Spread the peanut butter evenly over the top of the date layer.
  4. Melt the dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave or over a double boiler, stirring until smooth.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and flaky sea salt.
  7. Place the tray in the freezer for about 20–30 minutes or until the bark is firm.
