- 12 Medjool dates, pitted
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (or any nut/seed butter)
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (almonds, peanuts, or walnuts)
- Flaky sea salt to taste
Instructions
- Line a small baking sheet or tray with parchment paper.
- Flatten the pitted dates and arrange them side by side on the tray to form a rectangle or square base, pressing them together to stick.
- Spread the peanut butter evenly over the top of the date layer.
- Melt the dark chocolate chips with coconut oil in the microwave or over a double boiler, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle with chopped nuts and flaky sea salt.
- Place the tray in the freezer for about 20–30 minutes or until the bark is firm.
- Break into pieces and enjoy!
