Instructions

Bake the Cupcakes:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- Prepare the chocolate cake batter according to the box instructions, adding vanilla extract for extra flavor.
- Fill cupcake liners about 2/3 full and bake for the time specified on the box (usually 18-22 minutes).
- Let cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
Make the Buttercream Frosting:
- In a large bowl, beat softened butter until smooth and creamy (about 2 minutes).
- Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well.
- Add vanilla extract and milk (one tablespoon at a time) until the frosting is smooth and spreadable.
- Mix in green gel food coloring until you achieve a vibrant green shade.
Decorate the Cupcakes:

- Use white decorating icing to draw football laces on some cupcakes or make football field lines.

Notes

If you don’t have white decorating icing, you can use melted white chocolate or a small piping bag with white frosting.
