Description

These Easy Fudgy Oreo Brownies are dense, chewy, and packed with crushed Oreo cookies inside and on top. They come together with simple ingredients and deliver bakery-style results right from your kitchen. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or late-night cravings – this is a must-make treat for Oreo and brownie fans alike!

Ingredients

Units Scale

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp salt

12 Oreo cookies, crushed (about 1 cup)

Optional: 1/4 cup chocolate chips for extra fudginess

Extra Oreo halves or pieces for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven:
Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease.

  • Mix wet ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, and whisk until smooth and glossy.

  • Add dry ingredients:
Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt just until combined—do not overmix.

  • Fold in Oreos:
Gently fold in crushed Oreos and chocolate chips, if using.

  • Pour & top:
Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top. Press a few extra Oreo chunks on top for a pretty finish.

  • Bake:
Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly soft (a toothpick should come out with moist crumbs).

  • Cool & slice:
Let cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares. For clean cuts, chill briefly before slicing.

Notes

  • For extra gooey brownies, underbake by 1–2 minutes.

  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days, or freeze for longer storage.

  • Use gluten-free Oreos and flour for a gluten-free version!
