- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 6 slices provolone cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9-inch or similar baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat and set aside.
- In the same skillet, heat olive oil and sauté bell peppers and onion until tender, about 5–7 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
- Return ground beef to the skillet. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix in cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and layer provolone slices over the top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted and golden.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
