Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Krispies cereal and protein powder. Stir until well mixed.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the peanut butter and honey together, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt if using.
  4. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the cereal mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press down firmly to create an even layer.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until firm. Cut into squares and serve.
