- 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
- 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Krispies cereal and protein powder. Stir until well mixed.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the peanut butter and honey together, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt if using.
- Pour the peanut butter mixture over the cereal mixture and stir until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press down firmly to create an even layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until firm. Cut into squares and serve.

- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
- You can use chocolate protein powder for a richer flavor.
