Description

These air fryer chicken thighs are incredibly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. With just a few simple seasonings and minimal prep, youโ€™ll have a delicious meal in no time. Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner!

  • 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC) for about 5 minutes.
  • Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  • Season the chicken: Rub the olive oil over the chicken thighs, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and oregano. Make sure to coat both sides evenly.
  • Air fry: Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side down. Cook at 400ยฐF for 12 minutes, then flip and cook for another 10-12 minutes until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165ยฐF (74ยฐC).
  • Rest & serve: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, spray a light coat of cooking oil over the chicken before air frying.
  • If using boneless chicken thighs, reduce cooking time to about 14-16 minutes.
