Description
These raspberry bars are quick, easy, and perfect for when you want something sweet without a lot of fuss. Made with just five ingredients, they’re buttery, fruity, and have a soft crumbly texture that’s totally irresistible. Great for dessert, snacks, or even breakfast on the go!
Ingredients
-
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
-
2 cups all-purpose flour
-
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
-
1/4 teaspoon salt
-
3/4 cup raspberry jam (or preserves)
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
-
In a large bowl, mix the melted butter, flour, brown sugar, and salt until crumbly and well combined.
-
Press about 2/3 of the crumb mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form an even base.
-
Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the crust, leaving a small border around the edges.
-
Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the jam layer.
-
Bake for 30–35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
-
Let cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
Notes
-
You can swap raspberry jam for any other fruit jam you like—strawberry, blueberry, or apricot all work well.
-
For extra texture, stir in 1/4 cup of chopped nuts or rolled oats to the topping.
-
These bars store well in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for a week.
