Description

A refreshing and fruity twist on the classic mojito, this Fresh Watermelon Mojito combines juicy watermelon with mint, lime, and sparkling water for a perfect summer drink.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups fresh watermelon, cubed
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 2 ounces white rum (optional)
  • 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a glass or cocktail shaker, muddle the watermelon cubes until they release their juice.
  2. Add mint leaves, lime wedges, and sugar (if using), and gently muddle to release the mint oils and lime juice.
  3. Add white rum if using and stir to combine.
  4. Fill a serving glass with ice cubes.
  5. Strain or pour the muddled mixture into the glass.
  6. Top with sparkling water or club soda and stir gently.
  7. Garnish with extra mint leaves or a small wedge of watermelon if desired, and serve immediately.
