For the Garlic Butter Shrimp:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

- 1/2 cup white wine (or chicken broth)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Ricotta Mixture:
- 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the Lasagna Layers:
- 9 lasagna noodles, cooked according to package instructions
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
For the Creamy White Sauce:
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk (whole milk or half-and-half)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Garlic Butter Shrimp
- In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Stir in shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
- Pour in white wine (or chicken broth) and lemon juice, and let it simmer for another 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley. Set aside.
Step 2: Make the Ricotta Mixture
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Step 3: Make the Creamy White Sauce
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add flour and whisk for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.

- Stir in garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let the sauce thicken for 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
Step 4: Assemble the Lasagna
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- Spread a thin layer of the creamy white sauce at the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Layer three cooked lasagna noodles.
- Spread โ of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
- Add โ of the garlic butter shrimp, followed by a layer of shredded mozzarella.
- Repeat layers two more times (noodles, ricotta, shrimp, cheese).
- Finish with a final layer of noodles, remaining white sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
Step 5: Bake the Lasagna
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

- You can substitute white wine with chicken broth for a non-alcoholic version.
