Description
Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs are delightful, bite-sized treats that combine the savory flavors of a cheeseburger with a garlicky, buttery crust. These golden-brown delights are perfect for parties, game days, or a fun family dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Filling:
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to the beef. Stir well to combine.
- Stir in the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until the mixture is creamy and well combined. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.
- Prepare the Biscuit Dough:
- Open the can of refrigerated biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits.
- Flatten each biscuit into a circle large enough to hold a portion of the beef and cheese mixture.
- Assemble the Bombs:
- Place a spoonful of the beef and cheese mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges tightly to seal completely. Shape each filled dough piece into a ball and place it seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Add the Garlic Parmesan Topping:
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Brush the tops of the assembled bombs generously with the garlic Parmesan mixture.
- Bake to Golden Perfection:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the bombs are golden brown and cooked through.
- Garnish and Serve:
- Let the bombs cool slightly before serving.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a burst of color and freshness.
Notes
- Make Ahead: You can prepare the bombs ahead of time and refrigerate them before baking. When you’re ready to serve, just pop them in the oven and bake as directed.
- Customize the Fillings: Feel free to get creative with the fillings! You can add sautéed onions, bacon bits, or even a dollop of barbecue sauce for extra flavor.
- Use a Different Cheese: If cheddar isn’t your thing, try mozzarella, Monterey Jack, or even a spicy pepper jack cheese to add some heat.
