Description

  • 4 large croissants (fresh or store-bought)
  • 8 slices of deli ham (thinly sliced)
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese (or cheddar, or your favorite cheese)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional, for brushing)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  • Slice each croissant horizontally in half.
  • Spread a small amount of Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each croissant (optional).
  • Place 2 slices of ham on each bottom half, followed by 1 slice of cheese.
  • Cover with the top half of the croissant.
  • If desired, lightly brush the tops of the croissants with melted butter for extra crispiness.
  • Arrange the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the croissants are golden brown.
