- 4 large croissants (fresh or store-bought)
- 8 slices of deli ham (thinly sliced)
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese (or cheddar, or your favorite cheese)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 tablespoon butter (optional, for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- Slice each croissant horizontally in half.
- Spread a small amount of Dijon mustard on the bottom half of each croissant (optional).
- Place 2 slices of ham on each bottom half, followed by 1 slice of cheese.
- Cover with the top half of the croissant.
- If desired, lightly brush the tops of the croissants with melted butter for extra crispiness.
- Arrange the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the croissants are golden brown.
