Ingredients
-
1 package (12-count) Hawaiian sweet rolls
-
3/4 lb thinly sliced deli ham
-
3/4 lb sliced Swiss cheese (or cheddar/provolone, if preferred)
-
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
-
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
-
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
-
1 tbsp poppy seeds (optional)
-
1/2 tsp garlic powder
-
Cooking spray or butter for greasing
Instructions
-
Preheat oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
-
Slice rolls: Without separating the individual rolls, slice the entire block of rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
-
Layer the sliders: Evenly layer the ham over the bottom half of the rolls, then top with cheese slices. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
-
Make the glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, poppy seeds (if using), and garlic powder.
-
Brush and bake: Brush the glaze generously over the tops of the rolls. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 5–7 minutes until tops are golden and cheese is melted.
-
Serve: Let cool slightly, then slice into individual sliders. Serve warm!
Notes
-
You can prep these ahead of time and refrigerate before baking.
-
Try adding thin-sliced pickles or caramelized onions for a twist.
-
For a spicy version, mix a little hot sauce into the glaze.
